Woo-Wee Room Spray!

I am not sure how many of you are in the diaper changing phase of life, but that is a big part of ours right now! Lilyana was potty-trained right after her brother, Tristan, was born, and I’m hoping that he will take after her and learn to use the potty once this little one makes his grand entrance into the world. I’ve heard that boys are harder…but we’ll see!

When Lilyana was a baby, she couldn’t stand stinky smells, even if it came from her own dirty diaper! She would wrinkle up her nose and exclaim, “Woo-wee!!!!” And she wasn’t afraid to let people know if they were the ones who smelled bad! And now Tristan is in diapers…and it’s fruit season, and his diapers definitely deserve a “Woo-wee!”

After talking about doing this for quite some time, I finally came up with a blend of oils and made what we call our Woo-Wee Room Spray. I told my sister-in-law about it, and she was super excited! She is also pregnant and due two days before me, so she will benefit from this spray, too! In fact…I think I will add this to my baby shower gift basket…. Here is a super quick and easy room spray that is not only cheaper than buying room sprays, but the essential oils in the room spray make it a healthy room spray, as well!

2 Drops YL Lemon Essential Oil
2 Drops YL Orange Essential Oil
2 Drops YL Bergamont Essential Oil

1 ounce Vodka

Combine the baking soda and essential oils in a glass bowl, mixing until all oils are absorbed into the baking soda. Add to the water and vodka, stirring until the baking soda mixture dissolves. Using a funnel, pour into a 4 ounce colored glass spray bottle, seal and use as often as needed!
